National Workforce Campaign
With financing from the Construction Advocacy Fund, AGC of America partners with its chapters to invest in and run targeted digital advertising campaigns designed to recruit new people into high-paying construction careers.
AGC matches chapter investments in these campaigns dollar for dollar, incentivizing chapters to put in place modern, high-tech recruiting campaigns. AGC also provides resources to allow members to retain newly hired workers and reduce high attrition rates that contribute to workforce shortages.
Examples of these campaigns include:
- AGC of Alaska’s We Build Alaska campaign
- AGC of Ohio and Ohio Contractors Association’s I Build Ohio campaign
- AGC of South Dakota, Highway-Heavy-Utilities Chapter’s Build South Dakota campaign
- Oregon-Columbia Chapter-AGC’s Build Oregon campaign
